Joe Fusco's Mount behind his DVDNow Kiosk

Joe Fusco has been nice enough to show us his screen mountbehind his lit up sign. Joe and I both have our sign up and the screen poking out over the top. Click on the images below and enlarge them. Basically, these are shoe racks that fit perfectly over the back of the machine. I also store a couple of tools behind mine. I forget a screwdriver, I have one on the shelf behind my machine. It works out pretty neat and the screens as you can see are angled down towards the customer. It also provides height so most people in the store can see your advertsing. Thanks for sending the photos Joe. I guess we can make this the post for everyone and their ideas on mounts.

Sincerely,
Mike Weiland

Anything to help each other here.

Mine is a 20". Don't need anything special, it only works off RCA cables. By tilting it down and putting the brightness all the way up keeps the picture from being dark.

I got the metal pieces in Home Depot in the hardware section. They bend easy and have many holes to chose from. You can see where I put a 1/4" screew in the side of the kiosk, and I put another through the top of the shoe rack, just enough to hold it if bumpped. Then put lots of packing tape around the stand and the top shelf of the rack.

Thank you Mike and Joe for sharing this info. If you can upload pics of the connections that would be great. Just a thought, we can also upload News headlines, weather info etc for the customer's convenience right?

Does anyone know if the kiosks currently being delivered from DVD Now include a top-mount for a television screen? I am not a "handy" person in this sense and I'm not sure I could figure out how to mount a television myself, even with all of the help available here. :)

You can make just about any size work. Have you seen the mounts that some of the others have? Also, DVDNow makes a mount that fits on top of the machine. Call them and see how big the t.v. can be for their mount.
